Run of the Mill randomness.
Assorted thoughts.
When watching the anime of a manga series you've finished. It's interesting when the character design has some feature that you totally weren't expecting, even when in retrospect it's obvious.
It's also weird when your recognise voices but you can't remember from where.... and then you realise while you still can't name where the voice is from, it's actually best that you don't.
Though it cracks me up muchly that Kaga's voice is the same as Renji's from Bleach. :)
HIkaru no Go anime is utterly adorable. But not quite enough to take away the Oofuri cravings. Wry won't oofuri download! And Hikago is far to plentiful to be good for the exam period. =/
So this morning my fiancés dad sent me a powerpoint presentation joke (which I usually hate, because it's a pain in the ass to download, open etc, when you've got a bunch of windows open)
But I noticed that google had a powerpoint viewer...
Huh I said. When did that happen? USEFUL!
Obviously not too long ago when this is one of the first news articles I opened up a little later

My username isqem_chibati because Qem and Chibati are two of my absolute favouritist characters ever and well, it amuses me to have a username that is layered with meaning for myself, as well as using a set of Mary Sue's to represent myself online -because that's what they're there for.
2. My journal is titled ____ because ____.
I had to check this one.
My journal is titled Mada Mada Dane, because my LJ uses a movie quote generator, and I wanted something similar but different so was trying to think of ways to rearrange anime Quotes, failed in that so decided I'd just go for anime quotes, until I could think of something better.
Mada Mada Dane is said by Ryoma from prince of tennis who is a character I identify with somewhat... Means that you've got ways to go... Which this journals kind of empty so yeah, has ways to go.
Just before I think it was Booyaka, my stock random phrase.
3. My subtitle is ____ because ____.
My subtitle is Love and Peace because well Ryouma's Quote is somewhat Snarky, so wanted something a bit more friendly to balance it off. Vash from Trigun.

"Where am I right now? Who are you people? " Is said by Totosai in Inuyasha, I found it utterly hilarious then, and found it amusing to have on my friends page, because like Totosai, I know perfectly (well reasonably) well why they are there, and where I am. It was also nano-seconds before I updated the firefox home pages. :)
I had just before that, on here was qqq, just so it would stand out on the subject bar before I could think of how to update it.

Killua because it is my hobby on websites where you can choose between icons to either have a Killua (from hunter X hunter) icon, or baby Sesshoumaru motivate me...
*Shrugs* I decided I was going to have a mini theme with my icons on here, that they'd be based off of manga images and be put together by me (it's my intention to go back and colour some of the plain ones but Saki rocks my socks)... So baby Sesshoumaru was right out. Being not made by me.
I thought that icon looked nice, and I liked the way that it came out. - The knife he is holding is actually... Embedded with nen, uh magical energy, so I liked the way I got the filters to work together and come out - there's a purple aura to represent Killua's strength, the sparkles around the knife to show that it's not ordinary and a wall - the stalls where there are other treasures to be found!
I thought it was fun period in the se3ries, and I like purple... So combined with the fact that I usually use Killua icons it was an easy choice to make.
As a side note, the key words are Killua is going to - since, well knives imply violence as does the start of that phrase, but the reality is that Killua's going to jump up and down with excitement and have a fun competition with Gon. :DDDD

Something that involved paper sissors rock and was on Megadrive II. I have a horrible suspicion that Mortal Combat III was a close second... Despite the fact that this was before 1994, so I was like. 8 or less and that is a M15+ game... I remember my mother was not impressed when she found out.

3. Have you ever visited a video game arcade?
Yes. Don't really see the big deal though, except for that brief time when I was 10, bop the croc, and cheap cheap candy prizes.
4. What was your first handheld?
Colour Gameboy. Aussie Olympic Edition. Heh.
5. What was the first game you've beaten/cleared completely?
Sonic the Hedgehog I think.
6. Games based off of real sports: Yay or Nay?
Most are boring so nay.
7. Online games: Yay or nay?
Yay.
8. Do you play any Massively Multiplayer Online RPG games? (MMORPGs?)
Yes. Used to play Ragnarok Online on the ORO server before it died. I had... An acolyte that I rarely used (obviously!), and a bard. =D Which was an archer for ages and ages because of the quest to get a four slotted Lute.
The Bards Name was Cathryn, it used to amuse me so much some of the reactions I got to that...
I did play the discworld once or twice, stopped because I found out someone else whom I'd like to avoid played it, but I can't recall any others that I really played.
9. Do you play any virtual pet games? (Neopets, Teripets, Aftermathzone, etc.)
Used to play a couple. I had a neopets account in... 1999 I think for maybe two years? And played a couple of other similar things.
10. Puzzle games and Strategy games: Yay or Nay?
Yay. Yay. YAY! Puzzle and strategy are my second favourite to play after RPG's, because they usually give me time to think and play and the fact that I have crap reflexes is not as bothersome, although RPGs are more fun because of the characters.
11. Do you play any RPGs?
Yup, also my favourite type to play.
12. Do you play any Platformer games?
A couple. Or at least I used to.
13. What was the first game/console/handheld of yours that stopped working?
Sega Mega Drive II. I had angered my mother it went to the top of the cupboard and had never worked after that.
Characters/Plot
14. Do you actually care if a game has a plot or do you just play games for the gameplay?
Game must be fun to play; Plot is bonus. Plot will keep me playing though, even through the not fun times.

Squall (ffviii): Because he makes me laugh.
Leon (kingdom hearts): Because he did too.

I dunno, it tends to vary a lot with what I'm playing or reading, and I tend to have overall mild fondness for them all.

Final Fantasy (or at least the ones that I played) - I know a lot of people bitch about 8 and 10 and 10-2 but I still had fun with them, I know perfectly well that their cheesy, but that's part of the fun! Sonic the Hedgehog... (Sonic Heros remains the only game that has ever provoked the ... what... My child hood *tears* response*)

I've gotten teary with a couple of the final fantasy moments. =/

Yup. Means I can take the fun from the game and keep it with me forever!

It was one where everyone got killed before they could move. =/

One that involved strange key combinations and quick wrists. (which I lack. Oh how I lack. I have crap wrists and crappier hand eye co-ordination. D: )
26. Most Rewarding Boss Battle
*shrugs* Oh! Eggman. First time you've finished a game has to count for something, and I worked very very hard for that.

Sephiroth for Kingdom hearts seems to take a long time... I was really happy to beat him on first go though after hearing people bitch about him. :D

Certainly one of the final fantasy or kingdom heart games.

FF8 end of disc1 I think... The one where Squall's eyes look like spades... Was not expecting the ice strike to come up right after.
